Samhain...

Tonight is the night when the portals to the Otherworld remain open... Do you dare to explore them? There are plenty of them in the heart of Århus: Viking, Jewish... Happy Festival of the dead... From Århus with (eternal) love

Øgaderne: A green quarter

The "Islands quarter", between the sea & the sky
Its neighbours seem to know how to enjoy life
and maybe that's why they want to keep it green
Ny Munkegade gardens are a good example of it

A place where the evenings can be golden...

Learning to fly

The light before you wake up
with thousand ideas flying like hungry birds in your foggy mind
Last evening the sky was burning, but the sun was cold like ice
If you want to fly
you'd better find a proper way
Otherwise you'll end like a star on the ground

Walking on the thin ice

I look at the old pictures and wonder why & how
Life can be a real puzzle sometimes
I remember those happy days, when every evening together was a great party
and we thought that we had all the time in the world
We were following the right way... To the exit, in any case
Sometimes I miss you and imagine your silhouette reflected in the boutique windows
But coming back to you would be like walking on the thin ice: Tempting but dangerous

Asleep winter heart

No more games - she said
Your coldness made me blind
Let me die alone in the asleep forest
- and her heart remained still like the old mill's wheel in the frozen waters

Remember: Some feelings are like the burning embers, you can't see them, but they are just hidden under the snow...

Walk walk walk

Walk
straight ahead and keep the rhythm
and never look back
'cause love could be just behind you...
Looking like only angels can do
but don't listen to their celestial songs! They lead to dangerous rivers...
and if you follow them... you're lost!

About flowers, mermaids and the faces of trees

The grey colour covers the city...

...and the flowers that used to lighten our streets start fading away...

gone with the wind, or maybe with the stream
surrounded by wooden mermaids
 carved on the old trees
coming back to life in this original way
showing us that even a dead tree kan hide many faces
