Aarhusian wintertime

...and birds get drunk of red berries...

The sunlight is cold like ice...
Maybe someone dares to eat lunch outdoors...
...rather than staying in the workshop...
...or coming back to the books following your own steps on the snow...
...before the sun dissapears again
...and the rainbow starts shining in the dark

White smile

Finally, the snow flakes fall down, hiding the concrete and lighting up our town and our minds...

If you listen...

When you are trying to come out of a situation and you only see red lights, no matter where you go...

and you can't find the way out
let the music control your soul

sing and shout until you cannot breath

beat all your energy out
make an offering to your favourite God in Valhalla
and perfom the ritual dance
until you see the turning lights upon your face
tomorrow will be a brand new day...

Time stands still in Åboulevarden

Sometimes we feel like if time was frozen...

...like in Åboulevarden, where the clock above always tells that it's 10:35. Summer or winter, even in the old pictures...

That's why we should not trust clocks, because sometimes they try to confuse us, telling so many different times as the Danish design clocks below, also on the riverside..

We won't believe them, no matter if Arne Jacobsen has created them for the National Bank of Denmark or for the Aarhusian city hall. Cause it's only 4 PM and there is still some light outside, and the days start to grow again in this mild January...

In a little while the city lights will show their supremacy in the urban landscape...

...drawing impressionist pictures on the water...

...until the morning sun comes
